Thickened / Gryphotic Nail Care

1 hr£40

Care for thickened, curved or difficult toenails, including safe nail reduction, trimming and filing where appropriate. Advice may be given on footwear, pressure, nail care and ongoing maintenance.

If there are signs of infection, severe pain, bleeding, ulceration, unexplained pigmentation or concerns outside the scope of a Foot Health Practitioner, referral to a GP, podiatrist or another healthcare professional may be advised.

Callus & Corn Treatment

A longer foot care appointment for clients with painful corns, calluses or areas of hard skin. Includes assessment, reduction of hard skin where appropriate, corn care, nail care if needed, and advice on footwear, pressure relief and ongoing prevention.

If there are signs of infection, ulceration, bleeding, severe pain, unexplained skin changes or circulation concerns, referral to a GP, podiatrist or other healthcare professional may be advised.

Mild Ingrown Toenail Care

1 hr£40

Care for a mildly ingrown or uncomfortable toenail where there are no signs of infection. This may include assessment, gentle nail care, filing, advice on nail cutting, footwear and pressure relief.

This service does not include nail surgery. If there is severe pain, swelling, pus, bleeding, infection, diabetes-related concerns or a recurring ingrown toenail, referral to a GP or podiatrist may be advised.

Care for thickened, curved, difficult or fungal-looking toenails. This may include safe trimming, filing and nail reduction where appropriate, with advice on hygiene, footwear, socks and ongoing nail care.

This service does not diagnose or medically treat fungal nail infection. If infection, severe pain, bleeding, ulceration, unexplained pigmentation or other concerns are present, referral to a GP, pharmacist, podiatrist or another healthcare professional may be advised.

Diabetic Foot Health Assessment & Routine Care

A foot health appointment for clients living with diabetes.

Includes a foot health assessment, routine toenail cutting and filing where appropriate, skin check, light callus care where safe, basic circulation and sensation checks, and advice on daily foot care, footwear and prevention.

This appointment is for routine preventative foot care only. It does not replace NHS diabetic foot screening and does not include treatment of wounds, ulcers, active infection or urgent diabetic foot problems.

If any concerns are noticed, referral to a GP, podiatrist or another healthcare professional may be advised.
